"The great age of steam is a fading memory and I consider
myself fortunate to have experienced the twilight years of that era.
I would like to share with you, through my work as a steam train
artist, recollections of a time when life moved at a more leisurely
pace. When the sound of the chime whistle, the smell of coal smoke
and the hiss of steam were everyday occurrences. Please journey back
in time with me to the age and glory of steam."
