Your own Original !

If you have a favourite locomotive or scene you would like Peter to draw please contact him with your information and ideas. Let Peter capture that special memory.

Below is a selection of commissioned works. Please click on the images to display more detail.

The two drawings below were commissioned by Jim Emmett of the Mount Lofty Railway Station.
Australian Southern Railroad CLP class locomotives hauling freight on the Adelaide-Perth corridor.
In Jims words:
SAR 710 class locomotive entering Mount Lofty Station with an Adelaide bound passenger train.

"We provide a very different place to stay and wanted illustrations that reflect the special qualities of the Station. I knew of Peter's work and commissioned drawings that particularly displayed these to both hang on the wall and for promotional use. I have been extremely pleased with the result and the on-going admiration of his work by guests."

A magic place to stay.

The drawing below was commissioned by retired NSWGR locomotive driver and Pennsylvania Railroad enthusiast Erik Hagen.

In Erik's words:
Pennsylvania Railroad Q2 Duplex type locomotive highballing freight through Plymouth.

"Having purchased several of Peter's prints featuring the South Australian Railways 520 class and the New York Central Railroad J3a Hudson locomotives, I was very impressed with Peter's work and his eye for detail. It is obvious that Peter has an ability to capture these engines working trains and not just standing still.
I have had a long interest in the locomotives and the history of the Pennsylvania Railroad in America so I decided to commission him to draw one of their engines. The subject was to be a Q2 class Duplex freight locomotive working at the head of a heavy freight train through Plymouth station on the Pennsylvania Railroad network.
The only help that I was able to give Peter was several photographs and a data drawing of the locomotive itself and fortunately I had a photograph of Plymouth station to send as well. Peter completed my commission and to say the least I was more than impressed with the final result.
The finished drawing hangs in a prominent position in my home gallery. I have several other projects in mind involving the Pennsylvania Railroad and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who would want an excellent reproduction of their requirements.
I most certainly guarantee they will not be disappointed."
